William Shaw is an award-winning music journalist and the author of several non-fiction books. Prior to becoming a crime writer, he worked at ZigZag and as a journalist for The Observer, The New York Times, Wired, Arena, and The Face. His recent works include police mystery novels set in1960s London, featuring DS Breen and WPC Tozer. Shaw's other police series opened with Salt Lane (May 2018) featuring DS Alexandra Cupidi. William Shaw lives in Brighton.
