Between 1993 and 1998, Eight women between the ages of 17-39 disappeared in areas within an 80 mile radius of Dublin, Ireland. This area that includes small coastal towns in Eastern and southeastern Ireland has been dubbed “The Irish Triangle” by those familiar with the cases. The similarity in victimology, and the succinct geographical points from which the victims disappeared, suggested to some a serial killer was at work. While,some theorize that some of these women could have been victims of domestic violence. Whatever the case, we will be examining the intriguing and disturbing phenomenon of “The Irish Triangle” disappearances.
