Fifteen year old Martha Moxley went out with friends on October 30, 1975. The next afternoon, she was found bludgeoned to death on her parents property in Greenwich, Connecticut. There was strong evidence against Martha’s neighbor, Michael Skakel, however, the case went cold for decades. Michael Skakel would eventually be convicted of Moxley’s murder in 2002. However, in a series of legal twists and turns, Skakel’s conviction was overturned, and he remains a free man.
