This week we’re focusing on lake dwelling cryptids. We are not going to talk about the Loch Ness monster, though. Just kidding! Of course we are going to discuss the legend of Nessie. The origins of the Lochness monster can be traced back to 562 A.D. Despite sightings being widely discredited, his legend prevails. We will also discuss the origins of the Ogopogo, water dweller who inhabits Lake Okanagan in British Columbia. This creature showed up in the mid 1800’s and has been compared to serpents and dinosaurs. While there is no concrete proof that either creature is real, there also isn’t proof that they don’t exist.
