In the early hours of June 10, 1912 in a farm house in Villisca, Iowa, eight people were brutally bludgeoned to death with an axe. Six of the victims were members of the J.B. Moore family- the other two were friends of the Moore children. Several suspects were identified, but none were ever tried or convicted of the murders.
