This is a tragic tale of a murder/suicide that occurred on December 6, 1959 in the wealthy area of Los Feliz. For reasons that have never been confirmed, cardiologist Harold Perelson killed his wife, and attempted to take the life of one of his daughters, before completing suicide. We will examine Perelson’s life leading up to the crime, and some of the theories surrounding what would lead Perelson to commit such heinous acts.
