It was the Valentine’s Day from hell for Reeva Steenkamp.  On February 14, 2013, the South African model was shot and killed by her boyfriend, South African Olympian, Oscar Pistorius.  Pistorius claimed that he shot Steenkamp believing that she was an intruder.  Pistorius had many allies who defended his actions, and fought hard to preserve his image as a hero.  No Valentine’s Day should end in murder- but it should end with our latest episode.
