In this episode we explore the bizarre world of Norwegian Black Metal. Oystein Arseth, A.K.A. Euronymous was the co-founder and guitarist in the Norwegian metal band Mayhem. Euronomous was a controversial figure for his radical views, and was a self-proclaimed leader of a militant group known as “The Black Metal Circle.” His exploitative behavior following a bandmates’ sucide launched a bitter feud between him and former bandmate, Varg Vikern.
