Johnny and Sean close out the first letter of John in this series "Th disciple that Jesus Loved." They begin with the last verse in chapter 5 "Dear Children, keep away form anything that might take God's place in your heart's." Throughout this first letter John has told us how much God loves us, he has warned us about false prophets, how we are to love others the way God loves us and how with Jesus in us we have eternal life. John now closes this letter by letting us know we can have all of this, as long as we keep God as the ruler, the one sitting on the throne, of our heart.
