The future of our planet depends on our actions, and these young girls are sending a strong message to us all.
With the world focusing more on sustainability and protecting our planet, I decided to take a different turn with this episode. I spoke with Violette, Sacha and Mia, three eco-conscious Grade 8 students at the Swiss International Scientific School Dubai who have secured a place at the ‘Junk Kouture’ World Finals in London after designing and making a sustainable dress from used sweet wrappers and plastic food packaging waste. They were guided by their art and design teacher, Teresa Pollard.
