Description

Today I am joined by Joanna Chanis. Joanna was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, and it changed everything for her. She knew her purpose was to help and connect people. She put her experience and advice together in 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑾𝑨𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑹𝑶𝑶𝑴 book to do precisely that.

Corporate teams have found the values and tools from my book value in helping their teams learn 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆.

She is a mother and entrepreneur. She has owned, operated, and successfully exited a high-volume restaurant and founded a technology start-up. As a Greek American born in Worcester, Massachusetts, she moved to Boston for college 30 years ago, and she has lived there ever since.

She loves to travel, especially to Greece, where she spends time each year with her family and friends. She loves to cook Greek food and share meals with friends

She mentors young entrepreneurs and help teenagers who have lost a parent.

We talk about what she learned from cancer, the foundation of our twenties, and creating boundaries with our family.
