Our hair is considered our crown, but I haven't always felt that way. I always felt like I was hiding behind weaves, protective styles and relaxers. I am now in my adulthood embracing the parts of me that I wasn't able to embrace when I was younger. 7/11/24, I decided to loc my hair.
