Organiser of a major event: this has become Gert’s specialty. Not just an event but the second largest rally in the world: the Morocco Desert Challenge. I have known Gert since the University years: we both studied communications. After working for Cable and Wireless as a Communication Manager, he decided to take a year off the corporate world and ventured with his 2CV all the way from Brussels to Cape Town.
