Can you clearly remember some of the advice your parents gave you growing up? In episode 28 I share one piece of advice my dad gave me that echoes in my mind frequently. It's proven to help me so much in leading and trying to influence other people.
My dad was trying to help me make more friends at a time when our family moved around a lot due to his job in the military. The advice he gave me is something I think leaders could benefit from implementing and yet so few of them demonstrate it. It's about listening to others and asking them questions.
The podcast episode featuring Jeff Bezos that I mention in this week's show can be found here - it's episode 15.
Here's the link to the new Leadership Tribe I've created and talked about at the end of this week's show. I think you'd find real value in joining. It's free!
