Danny Langloss started out as a police officer and worked his way all the way through to Police Chief, and now, a City Manager in Dixon, Illinois. His purpose is to create the greatest impact, the biggest difference for the most people, and he believes the critical issues facing communities and businesses can be solved with leadership.
In this episode, Danny discusses in depth the framework he developed called “The Seven Pillars of Ownership”, where he defines ownership as the extreme emotional and psychological commitment to the team, the values, and the purpose of the organization; where people do things because it's important to them, not because they're told to do it.
