It’s easier to stop something from happening in the first place than to repair the damage after it has happened in most cases. For example, by eating healthy and exercising now you can prevent health issues later. Or you have auto insurance now so that if you get into an accident, you don’t suffer a huge financial hit. What if the cost of preventative action right now is too high, despite the perceived benefits?
With hurricane Ian behind us and rebuilding begun, it got me thinking about the different ways of prevention on all levels in life. Join me on this thoughtful Thursday as I contemplate the ounce of prevention.
