With the holidays coming up fast we are faced with the challenges of what we want to do vs. what we have to do.  It’s not that easy to go see the “in-laws” if it’s not a comfortable space but yet there is also guilt if you don’t.  With rising costs are we really obligated to buy “traditional” foods?  What if this year you really wanted to do something different? Does the guilt of telling people “no” out weight the joy you would feel by having seafood vs turkey thanksgiving or choosing to have a small family holiday vs the big family event? It’s all a choice we have to make whether we feel obligated or guilty.
