In Episode 78 Lynn and Kelli talk about a principle they have found to be one of the critical success factors in marketing cohousing, "chop wood and carry water". It's a Zen proverb, that they have internalized as a faithful discipline of staying on task with the plans they commit to. Come rain or shine, whether you feel like it or not, they describe how they simply carry on and keep chopping wood and carrying water.
Lynn and Shelly Parks at CoVision Consulting will be talking about this principle and 6 others in their presentation at the National Cohousing Conference in Madison on August 27th. Look for "Seven Critical Success Factors in Developing a High Performance Cohousing Sales & Marketing Team" in the session descriptions, and stop by to say hi to Lynn and Shelly if you're in Madison.
