They want to do something helpful or positive, something that will make them feel secure and give them a sense of control over their lives. They keep asking, “What can I do??” In answering that question, we’ll take a brief look at the mess we’re in, then assess what is really happening. Next, we’ll look ahead to where we’re going, and lastly we’ll look at the steps and bridge-building that will be needed to get there.
