Rodney is a person in recovery from Yellow Quill First Nation on Treaty #4 Territory and the traditional territory of the Cree and Saulteaux, Assiniboine, and Métis.

He lived the gang life back in the day but decided to make a change.

Today he spends his time in service to community through supporting other former gang members in transitioning to a healthier, safer way to live. His latest venture is outreach in the Prince Albert Saskatchewan Penitentiary.

But this isn't the finish line for Rodney.

With his diverse experiences with poverty, abandonment, addictions, and gang life, Rodney is starting his own business. He's bridging the gap between urban settings and re-engaging in cultural activities and opportunities.

We are honored to have Rodney share space with us, to lay down his testimony, to walk with us as we foster change in our communities, and to prove to the world once again that lived experience is an education,

Second to none.

Buckle up.
