Description

Hi Everyone,

I'm starting my first series, which will eventually feed back into our main passage of Acts 17 (I promise):

5 Reasons Why Christians Need to Care about the Jews

In this week's episode, I cover reason #1 (not in any particular order):  God will evaluate nations and people according to where they stand regarding Israel and the Jews!

MAIN PASSAGES:

Matthew 25: 31-46
Zechariah 8: 2-3
Zechariah 12: 2-3
Daniel 2: 26-45
Psalm 2

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1.  How did you view Israel and the Jews before the podcast?  How do you view them now since listening to the podcast?  Did focusing on and digging into the passages mentioned in the podcast influence your viewpoint?  Change your viewpoint?

If not, why not?  If so, consider how many passages about Israel and the Jews are unknown or unfamiliar to most Christians.  How would learning more about this subject of Israel and the Jews in the Bible further shape your Biblical mindset?

2.  On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is it to have a Biblical mindset when viewing Israel and the Jews?   Why did you pick the number you did?  If you didn't see it as important, why not?  Can you give a Biblical reason for your view?  If you did see it as important, then how will it change your life?

APPLICATION QUESTIONS:

1.  We read in The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats how important it is to take care of the least of Jesus' brothers.  In what ways could you begin to practically minister to the Jewish people?  How will you practically care for them in the future?

2.  We talked about how there's a growing antisemitism and anti-Israel bias in the world.  In what ways could you stand with and advocate for God's people today?  And in the future?

3.  Psalm 122:6 states:  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:  May those who love you prosper.
In what ways can you begin to pray for Israel, the Jews, and Jerusalem?
