-Tucker Carlson made waves by posting several videos highlighting aspects of Russia that seem much better than their American counterparts. Is this a valuable repudiation of American corruption OR a misguided version of Russian propaganda?
-District Attorney Fani Willis became a household name with her prosecution of Donald Trump for alleged election interference in Georgia. However, the case has taken a dramatic turn as Willis herself was put on the stand to defend allegations that she profited personally from hiring a romantic partner as the special prosecutor and then taking lavish vacations with him! What happens when those trying to point out corruption are corrupt themselves?
- The Hawaiin Supreme Court released a decision limiting its citizens’ federal 2nd amendment right to bear arms. The most surprising part of the decision came during a section regarding Hawaii’s historical beliefs. A key phrase is, “The spirit of Aloha clashes with a federally-mandated lifestyle that lets citizens walk around with deadly weapons
during day-to-day activities.” How should we think about this seemingly religious claim allowing Hawaii to ignore the US Constitution?
