On this episode of The HERshyt Show, Hersh talks with co-host Felicia about several topics including the Death Penalty and a Womens Right to Choose. In 2010, a death row inmate waited an average of 178 months (roughly 15 years) between sentencing and execution. Nearly a quarter of inmates on death row in the U.S. die of natural causes while awaiting execution. Once Roe made it possible to obtain safe legal abortions, women have been having abortions earlier in their pregnancies when the health risks are the lowest. Today, abortion is one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures and is ten times safer than carrying a pregnancy to term.
