It’s another problematic episode where the writers of Sex and the City try to grapple with race and Becky and Kerry can’t help but wonder: would basically ANYTHING other than the choices they made here have been better?
Luckily, there’s a lot else going on in this episode as Kerry coaches the characters and discusses with Becky whether Carrie ever actually bought that chair from Aiden, why anyone in their right mind becomes obsessed with porcelain dolls as an adult, and whether Miranda really would have been working on a Sunday with HUGE law books all over her dining room table.
