King Asa of Judah even though he “did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God” 2Chronicles 14:2 still found himself out-manned and out-gunned when the king of Ethiopia showed up with a million man army and 300 chariots. War was imminent. The outcome bleak at best. Yet King Asa remained at rest and trusted in the Lord. We can learn valuable lessons on how to face our own battles and trials from this encounter. And just as King Asa did, we will not only get to see the victory but the spoils of war as well! Hallelujah!
