Advent is the season of waiting. This week we look at the story of Mary with her friend and cousin, Elizabeth, the soon to be mother of John (the Baptist).
This Advent we are looking at the story through the lens of Mary. The one single person in all of history who was closest to Jesus, his mom. Historically we know that Mary was in Ephesus later in life. Can you imagine the Christmas Eve gatherings there with the community in Ephesus? "Mary, tell us the story again..."
Join us as Wendy shares an insightful look at these two women who played such a significant role in the lives of Jesus and John the Baptist. That we might also learn to recognize the works of Jesus in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
