Description

Join us as we continue with the third part of this series on connecting. Connecting with God. Connecting with Community. Connecting with Creation.

This week Canon Tim Clayton continues with some more insights from the Acts of the Apostles chapter 17. Connecting with God.

From Acts 17: 22a, 23b-31:
"From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live, so that they would search for God and perhaps grope around for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us."
Tim points out that God has done this because he loves each of us and he wants his love to be requited/responded too.

Connecting with God is THE thing of life, it is the deepest, the thing for which we are meant. The love of God is the source of ALL that IS. When we begin to love God back things begin to get sorted. It might happen slowly and some things are difficult, it might be painful, it might be happy depending on our circumstances, but through it all, connecting with God is our home.
