Epiphany - The Presentation of Jesus
In the past months we've walked through a season of waiting in the darkness hoping for the light (Advent), a season of celebrating (Christmas), and the last few weeks through the season of Epiphany wherein we look at the light and bask in the light and on the Feast of the Presentation, that journey comes to a close. In a fascinating sermon, Tim looks at how Luke's gospel has bookended the story of the incarnation through the presentation with this simple response from both Mary and from Simeon. So that we might also have the hope to respond to God with, "Here I am, let it be done to me..."
