Lent Week 2
Listen to Mrs. Jennifer Kiefer's sermon: Healed in a Crowd
This morning Jennifer looks at the story of a woman who is sick and hurting, who reaches out to touch Jesus as he is passing through the crowds that are pressed against him. She's hoping that if she could just touch the hem of his robe she might be healed. In fact, she is healed and Jesus stops to ask "who has touched me?"
A beautiful story of Christ's intimate knowledge of what is happening even in the middle of a chaotic scene.
Jen leads us into the conversation that divine power and human power are meant to be gifts. Encouraging us to engage a far more deeply honest and deeply christian conversation about healing power and the ability to impact change and to create meaning.
