Groaning is defined as: to utter a deep moan indicative of pain, grief, or annoyance.. None of us have been left untouched by the groanings of a world still captive to sin, brokenness and trouble. Jesus grieved his friend Lazarus' death, and Jesus inhabits all of our sorrows with us. Jesus invites us to bring Him our toughest questions, and He is gentle with us in those wrestlings.
