Description

Join us for Matt Vaselkiv's sermon: Minor Prophets 4, Esther - The Impact of Subtlety and Nuance.

The Books of the Minor Prophets are simply shorter books.
But the beauty of the Minor Prophet books is that because they are shorter,  they tend to get right to the point and "name" the issues at hand.

Esther:
Join us as Matt takes us through the powerful and beautiful story of Esther, and shares how it can help us in the context of some of the issues that we all face today. The story takes place against the backdrop of a brutal society that oppresses women, Jews, and anyone who is not in a position of power.  Orphaned, trafficked, vulnerable, and imprisoned for a year before she is presented to King Xerxes, Esther follows the advice of Mordecai, and ultimately she saves her people. Sometimes it's actually the subtle and nuanced moments and choices that have huge impacts in our lives.

Join us Sunday Mornings at 930 am on Boston's North Shore in Hamilton, MA. We meet Outdoors this season, on the lawn near the Retreat House on the beautiful and scenic campus of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary 21 Billy Graham Way, South Hamilton, MA 01982.
