Psalms Series Part 11: Psalm 31
Join us as we study the Psalms this season at Trinity North Shore.

Trevor Jones continues our series in the Psalms with a closer look at Psalm 31.

Join us as Trevor walks us through this lovely Lamenting Psalm of David.
A Psalm of David, again asking for help from God, and a reassurance of knowing who God is, and praising Him for that. This lines up with our own private prayers that we can live in the natural flow of emotion from asking for help, to remembering who God is, and praising Him for that, and then moving back to asking for help. Knowing the presence of a God who delights in you, just as you are. Is it too good to be true?

Trevor is reminding us that we as a church are "God's workmanship", to do the good works that He has prepared for us to do. Also a kind reminder that when worries and shame come into our lives, we can remember that God's word reminds us to live in God's love, to run to the light of God's love.

PSALMS
The power of music + melody + poetry together = songs.
Singing to the Lord together is good for our mental health, our soul, our appreciation of God and of one another. Open your heart, bring yourself into the story of God.

Why do we sing? As Pascal said, "the heart has reasons for which reason knows not..." Music is one of the few gifts we have to bring love, to bring peace, to bring healing, to speak out against injustice, to bring praise and adoration to those we love. Music crosses those valleys, those deserts, those oceans within us and helps to bring us home within ourselves, connecting with God, and with one another.

Join us Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am during the cooler part of the morning.
