Psalms Series Part 2: Psalm 131
Join us as we learn about the Psalms this season at Trinity North Shore.

Mother Wendy Dixon continues our series in the Psalms with a closer look at Psalm 131.

When do we turn to the book of Psalms?
- When we need comforting
- When we need a deep moment of peace

How is it that David finds a way to intentionally calm and quiet his soul?
Join us as Wendy shares an insightful and comforting view of Psalm 131, a Psalm of David, a Psalm of ascent, as David looks to God for help to quiet his soul.

The power of music + melody + poetry > together = songs.
Singing to the Lord together is good for our mental health, our soul, our appreciation of God and of one another. Open your heart, bring yourself into the story of God.

Why do we sing? As Pascal said, "the heart has reasons for which reason knows not..." Music is one of the few gifts we have to bring love, to bring peace, to bring healing, to speak out against injustice, to bring praise and adoration to those we love. Music crosses those valleys, those deserts, those oceans within us and helps to bring us home within ourselves, connecting with God, and with one another.
