Just a few years after bringing Resident Evil to the big screen, Paul W S Anderson brings another nerd dream concept to life with Alien vs Predator. Despite the two franchises containing numerous critically acclaimed films, AvP failed to impress critics and audiences in 2004.
But today we revisit this crossover film and ask: What did this movie get right? With a deep lore that's respectful of what came before yet isn't afraid to innovate, and knock down drag out fights between the titular monsters, there's perhaps more to like here than the movie gets credit for.
