In this episode, Hilary chats with Kelly Krish, Al Carver-Kubik, and Meredith Noyes from the Image Permanence Institute (IPI). IPI is a university-based research centre in the College of Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) dedicated to supporting the preservation of cultural heritage collections in libraries, archives, and museums around the world. In this conversation, Hilary learns about the work IPI is doing around researching sustainable preservation practices, their internal sustainability committee, and some of the current research projects Kelly, Al, and Meredith are working on.
