Relationships aren't always healthy and fun. Sometimes, two people who should stay far far away from each other start dating, and it usually ends in tears and misery. However, in this episode, it ends in tragedy.
Shayna Hubers and Ryan Poston had a toxic, unhealthy relationship that was on again, off again. Shayna was obsessive and stalker-ish, and Ryan was abusive and manipulative. However, their relationship didn't end in a bad breakup. It ended with Shayna shooting Ryan six times in what she claimed to be self defense.
In this week's episode, Zoey tells both sides of the story and together, Robin and Zoey try to figure out if Shayna was a woman at the end of her rope who freed herself from her abuser, or if she killed the man she couldn't have in cold blood. Messy.
But first, Robin takes us back to Brenau University from the last installment of the 2021 College-palooza. Robin was able to have a phone interview with a student who actually attended the college and she told her story, which we mentioned in the original episode but did NOT do it justice.
