Chamomile
Matricaria recutita
Appearance: Chamomile has a branched stem and leaves with many leaflets. Its flowers are white with a yellow center and look like small daisies.
Chamomile originates in the Mediterranean area. It is known to have grown wild among the “flowers of the field” in some parts of Israel. Its fragile leaves and flowers remind us that life is temporary while God is eternal.
The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field.
Isaiah 40:6 KJV
