This podcast is focused on understanding Higher Self. It describes what Higher Self is, and how it is different than lower self. Your Higher Self is not distinct from you. It symbolizes the highest manifestation of you, a version of you that knows everything about you, and about the life you are meant to live. If you imagine your life as an evolutionary journey of becoming, then your Higher Self represents the ultimate destination of this journey. Higher Self has other names, and can also be referred to as our True Self, our Spiritual Essence or Atman, our Heart Center, or in a more shamanic view, our Axis Mundi, Guardian Spirit, Daimonion, or Celestial Twin.
The level of our self-awareness is bounded between lower self in one extreme, and Higher Self in the other. We all have the capacity to operate in both lower self and Higher Self, but in most cases, access to our Higher Self is blocked by our lower self, and its emotional domination over our psyche. Truly enlightened individuals, such as mystics, spiritual elders, or shamans operate mostly in their Higher Self awareness. They experience themselves and the world intuitively, and do not identify with worldly or psychological representation of self, such as personality. They only identify with their Higher Self, which is symbolized as their Inner Light, High Spirit, Heart Center, the Beloved, and so on.
