In this episode we hear from three scientists discussing the Study of Ice in the Arctic and in the Third Pole – Himalaya Region.

The Scientists are:

• Þorsteinn Þorsteinsson, Glaciologist, Icelandic Meteorological Office
• Eklabya Sharma, Senior Fellow-Policy Advisor, ICIMOD; Senior Advisor and Distinguished Fellow, Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE), India
• Pema Gyamtsho, Director General, International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD)

The Panel is followed by a Q&A with the audience moderated by Dagfinnur Sveinbjörnsson, Arctic Circle Emissary on the Third Pole, Climate and the Oceans.

This event originally took place at the 2023 Arctic Circle Abu Dhabi Forum.
