Description

In this episode, titled „United States Arctic Science Leadership“, we hear France A. Cordova, Director of U.S. National Science Foundation discuss the role of the NSF in Arctic Research.  This session originally took place at the 2019 Arctic Circle Assembly and includes Q&A from the audience moderated by Dr. Larry Hinzman, President, International Arctic Science Committee and an introduction by H.E. Jeffrey Ross Gunther, Ambassador of the United States to Iceland.

Arctic Circle is the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the future of the Arctic. It is an open democratic platform with participation from governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, Indigenous communities, concerned citizens, and others interested in the development of the Arctic and its consequences for the future of the globe.
