This time of year, there is a lot of talk about goals, but I think the word “goal” seems so far out there. You have to attain a goal, so it kind of leaves an emptiness between now and the goal.
I like to think about things more like mile markers, like when you’re driving down the freeway. You know where you’re going, but there are markers all along the way dividing up your trip. You know you can make it from here to there, because there are small steps with tangible markers. And all those things around you, all those markers, they are also cues that let you know where you are.
In today’s episode of It’s All BS, I want to talk to you about creating “markers” for yourself and why clearing your desk matters for success.
We talk about:
🔹 What a standstill marker is
🔹 How to create a visual cue to what’s going on in your brain
🔹 How this visual evidence can help you recognize when things are out of balance
🔹 Why it’s important to be conscious of the environments we put ourselves in
Your environment and your mind will work together. They are both on your side, but they are looking for leadership. Lead them. Lead your brain, and lead your environment. Everyone is on the same team, but you’re the coach.
If you could use some personalized support around this area of your life, I have a limited number of openings. So let's talk and see if we’re a fit. Book a chat here!
Remember, it's all about the mindset! Tune back in next week!
