The author of 8 books, Bob Mann talks bout how he became former Senator Russell B. Long’s press Secretary as well as his long career working for Senator John Breaux. Bob comments on how much Senator Breaux valued the legislative process and how he could get things done for Louisiana. Bob finally finished his political career in the administration of late Governor Kathleen Blanco, before becoming a permanent professor of Journalism at LSU.
Bob Man explains in detail Governor Blanco’s handling of the Katrina disaster in 2005 and their delicate interactions with the George W. Bush Administration.
Bob Mann also comments on the dysfunction of Government today and how Louisiana is missing leaders in the Congress who can get things done for the State of Louisiana.
