Description

Did you miss Sunday's message? Mel reintroduced us to the Flipping Tables series and together we explored 'The Tension of the Tables', listening to the voices of Mary, Martha and Luke - characters of the text.

All of us have sat at various tables of influence in our lives and we often walk away with rules to live by that become cruel and oppressive.

When we choose to see our experiences, scripture and others with awareness of the stories within the story it has an impact on the way we engage with the table of Jesus and the acceptance, love and grace He offers us there.

In exploring the 'white spaces' between the text we discovered that in order to become free at the table of Jesus with abandon, there are things we've got to let go of - those Cruel Rules that keep you from living fully alive to who you're created to be.

Some questions to consider:

🔥What rules are you living by that are robbing of life?

🔥What do you need to let go of in order to live from your identity in Christ?

🔥How can this awareness of the Cruel Rules we adopt at tables, help you to extend more grace to those around you?
