In the summer of 2013, Danielle Locklear moved to North Carolina to live with her grandparents and her aunt, while her mom dealt with a painful divorce. Danielle was excited to have a distraction from that -- and in came in the form of a new love interest: Je'Michael. It wouldn’t take long for Danielle, 15, to get acclimated to North Carolina —she got straight A’s and made lots of friends. All was going well until one night in 2014 when Danielle left her house to return a book to her neighbor/ friend and never came back. Her disappearance was a huge shock to her family, friends and community -- and they immediately sprung into action along with law enforcement.
