Description

In this, the third installment of teaching the Smiths are calling, Contending for the Faith, they continue to take us to the Scriptures to unfold what it has to say about Truth and error.  The Scriptures are the embodiment of absolute, universal Truth, while false teaching comes nipping at its heels.  How does an Indigenous believer in Christ sort out what is truth and what is error?  It's done the way law enforcement is trained in detecting counterfeit currency from real dollars.  Focus all our attention on the real thing!  When that's done, the flaws of the counterfeits are easily identifiable.

The Smiths continue to remind us of the uniqueness of the Scriptures.  There's never been anything like it written throughout all of human history!  Though a compilation of sixty-six books, it's really only one book, with one central message - the gospel!

In today's session, the Smiths introduce  to us  Statements of Faith of different churches and mission organizations.  Statements that clarify what it is these groups believe as important doctrines that establish The Christian faith and practice.  Craig and LaDonna also identify for us all the difference between a high view and a low view of Scripture, and why a high view is the one to have.  By the time you get to the end of today's program, you'll be surprised at the volume of verses God's Word includes that speaks about false teaching, false teachers, and their ultimate end.  All these things being vital in the establishing of a good, solid, Indigenous Faith!
