In this, the fourth and final episode of the current series Craig and LaDonna Smith have titled, Contending for the Faith, they continue to build precept upon precept put forward in the previous broadcasts on the necessity of pushing back against false teaching. This is not a new phenomenon but goes back all through out history. Truth has never escaped being changed into error because there has always been an enemy of our soul who wants to keep us from real truth. That's why this battle is so heavy, so strong, and so important.

In a world where there's the belief that all roads lead to heaven (Universalism), the gospel message stands out as unique, exclusive, and the only way, according to the Scriptures, that we can be saved. If all roads led to heaven, why would God have His only begotten Son come to earth, go through great pain and suffering, and die on a cruel cross from the most humiliating and painful way to die known to man, if all it meant was Jesus was just another way? That would be the worst case of child abuse ever known to man. Yes, Jesus is the way, is the truth, and is the life, and no one can come to God except through Him!
