Description

In this third and final installment of Craig and LaDonna's important series titled,  Lessons from Ezekiel, Craig continues to unpackage some of the most profound points in the whole Indigenous Faith teaching series.  But not before LaDonna returns to finish sharing the steps they take when someone comes for ministry with demonic manifestations and in need of deliverance from the powers of darkness she introduced in last week's session.  Craig seeks to provide clarity on the all important question of, Can a believer in Jesus Christ ever become demon possessed?  He also addresses one of the key unbiblical positions of the syncretists when they contend that the images or items they are making and using in their worship practices are not the same as the graven images of the traditionalists because THEY were the ones who made it, not them.   Craig's careful analysis of Ezekiel's experience leaves no room for doubt that it doesn't matter who makes it, as long as their tribes see these items as sacred to them.  As he walks listeners through the remainder of this incredible chapter, it becomes clearer and clearer the fallacy of the false teaching of syncretistic doctrine, arguing from the Word that what syncretism will always do is drive God far from His sanctuary.  And, although syncretists shout in God's ear, he will not listen to them!  This leaves us all having to ask ourselves, are we going to listen to the philosophies of men, or the timeless truths of God's Word?  For the Smiths, there is no room for doubt as they echo the classic statement of the great Reformer, Martin Luther, as he classically stated, My conscience is captive to the Word of God!
