As we continue into the second part of the informative Question and Answer Session, the panel hits their stride in tackling the list of questions posed by those in attendance at the summer 2022 Indigenous Faith International Leaders Conference in Bemidji, Minnesota.  Randy Jackson (Cree), gives an incredibly insightful answer to the question that stated, Is it not inconsistent, if we are calling Native believers in Christ  to abandon their ties to old animism and not calling the church to abandon its ties to historic pagan worship ceremonies that the Christian observations of Easter, Christmas and Lent?  In doing so, Randy leaves open the door for the Native church to help lead the larger Body of Christ in looking into these realities and perhaps continue the Reformation started by Martin Luther some 500 years ago.  Talk about insightful and an honest look.  Another question centered around how to address cultural forms vs. sacred objects, which Craig noted is a major part of his upcoming session six, which will air on this podcast as soon as the Q&A Session is completed.  Upcoming will be the panel's answers to issues such as can believers participate in Native sweat lodges and sweat ceremonies?  There's so many important questions yet to be answered as you stay tuned to upcoming editions of Indigenous Faith.  May today's session not only help you with answers, but whet your appetite for even more!  See you on the other side of today's podcast, dear friend!
