This week’s episode focuses on the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1952, or as Billy Joel put it “England’s got a new queen.” Today, it’s almost impossible to imagine the United Kingdom without the Queen. She is the country’s longest reigning monarch and has provided it with a continuous sense of identity and stability throughout almost 70 tumultuous years of change and uncertainty.
