Raymond is a medical Doctor and an Associate Professor of Finance. Raymond’s research interests are diverse: as a financial economist, he studies market microstructure, asset pricing, political economy and classical economics; while, as a medical researcher, he has also explored issues relating to end-of-life care.
He was the lead author Dr Wai-Man (Raymond) Liu said the study found people grieving a close friend suffered a significant decline in physical health, mental health, emotional stability and social life. The research undertaken to support the research and report found that The trauma caused by the death of a close friend endures four times longer than previously believed, according to the research from the Australian National University (ANU).
